happy burgers :)

These are a creation all of my own, in which I am VERY proud of! Basically they are Quinoa-Black Bean-Veggie Burgers. I didn't measure out the ingredients but I added as needed for the texture of the patties and kneaded the ingredients all together! Here's how to do it!

Ingredients:
  • ground flaxseed
  • hemp flour (I ground up hemp seeds in a coffee bean grinder)
  • water
  • chopped tomato
  • coconut oil
  • sesame oil
  • black beans
  • chopped onion
  • quinoa
  • lettuce (for the bun)
  • honey mustard (to make them happy! because happy is healthy)
Here's what to do:
  1. mix flaxseed, hemp flour, coconut oil and water to a good pattie consistency 
  2. knead in chopped tomato, black beans, quinoa, and onions
  3. add a little spot of sesame oil to a pan 
  4. roll dough into balls and heat the little patties only slightly, until brown on outsides
  5. add to lettuce bun and make them smile with the honey mustard
Try these out! They make a filling meal, rich with protein and fatty acids, and super simple to make! Bon appetite!
