Fresh, unpolluted water.
According to Mister Brazier, in Thrive: foods, our world is made up of 75% water; however, only a measly 0.08% is unpolluted and used for human consumption. 0.08%. 0.08%. 0.08%. 0.08%. !!!!! That is just nuts!!!! Having a completely strict vegan diet reduces the amount of water total humans consume through their resources. For example, Brazier says that it would take almost 60 standard bathtubs full of water to produce one pound of beef; whereas, only about 1.5 bathtubs full of water to produce a pound of sweet potatoes! Water is important people! So feel good about your diet, and appreciate having clean water to drink each day. Here are great health benefits to water (click here to read more!):
So drink up that water!!! And yes, I drank all that water and I've had to interrupt this post multiple times to pee!
Hello world! Welcome to my vegan, foodie life. I became vegan about two years ago and somewhere in that two years became inspired to spend a little more time in the kitchen. If you are like me, you cling to new recipes while running to your kitchen to see what ingredients you have and which ones you need, you spend extra time adding subtle ingredients to boost nutrient-density, and you make your dishes beautiful! I hope I can inspire you with this blog to feel healthy, beautiful, and motivated!
